Oooo lookit, look what I just saw!

Something big is being installed in the new wing of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.   Don’t tell anyone I told you.  It’s probably still a secret.  But it’s really, really big.  Dinosaur?  Whale?  I don’t know.  It was all backlit with construction lights, which made big spooky shadows on the plastic on the windows.  Whatever it is, it’ll be right there on Jones Street, so everyone who drives by when the light is just right can enjoy it.

I saw a poster today that hinted that we’ll be able to get in there very soon.  Like April, soon.  This is going to be good.

It’s Stumpy the whale!! I saw this on their facebook page yesterday – http://www.flickr.com/photos/naturalsciences/6685436585/in/set-72157628408654539. Can you imagine installing this? Makes packing up the Christmas decorations seem pretty simple . . .
