One of the last shows I’ll get to see under the sweet Berkeley disco ball:

The Honeycutters played last night, and it was SO good.  I mean, I’m still recovering from the crushing disappointment over their not playing my latest theme song and all.   But when they sang Irene, I snuggled up with my friends and we belted out the part about “we didn’t give a damn that we could fill an ocean with the things we never knew,” and y’all know how I love any song with a gypsy, anyhow.  Bonus points for railroad tracks.

Y’all come back soon.
